All the usual warm fleecy softness on the inside, with an outer shell that shrugs off raindrops - thanks to a clever durable water-repellent finish applied to the fabric. It's the same finish used on many of our rain jackets and raincoats - but this is the first time we've tried it on fleece. And it really works! Great if you're out and about on a chilly day and the heavens open unexpectedly.
