The Kyrie 7' Icons of Sport' pays homage to the heroes, mentors and muses of the hardwood that have inspired Kyrie. The red base featured prominently on the midsole is a nod to the greatest player of all time. A purple and gold upper and mamba-like pattern on the heel reflect the mentality of Kyrie's mentor. Hits of blue throughout the design pay homage to Kyrie's university coach. The presence of light grey hues is a nostalgic play on the' 90s New Jersey basketball kits. On the heel you' ll find a coach's clipboard graphic that references Kyrie's iconic, game-winning shot from the 2016 championship. Play Contained Mesh details wrap around your foot to create a close, comfortable fit. The laces feed through moulded fins that pull down over your forefoot when you lace up. Quick First Step The large forefoot Zoom Air unit is curved to bend in multiple directions. It provides energy return for responsive cornering. Data-Informed Traction The 360-degree, computer-generated traction pattern helps you move in and out of cuts. The rubber wraps up along the inner foot to give you traction when changing directions.
