The Klarstein Virtuosa induction hob combines technological innovation with a luxurious look, bringing a new shine to your kitchen. Cooking with induction is safe, efficient and energy-saving. Instead of indirectly transferring heat from the hob to the pot, it is produced directly in the pot by means of an electromagnetic oscillating circuit - the glass ceramic hob is heated only by the hot pot atop it. The Virtuosa has a total of four built-in hobs, each with an 18cm diameter, with a total of 7,000W of power for cooking. Two hobs provide up to 1,500W of power, and two up to 2,000W of power, all of which can be adjusted separately over nine different temperature levels. The product is an induction hob, operated via a built-in touch control panel and digital display, which ensures no additional controls and buttons break up the smooth surface of the kitchen unit. In addition to the temperature, a timer can be set separately for each hob in either one-minute or 10-minute increments, either switching off the hot plate or sounding an alarm after the time has elapsed. To make sure that everything runs smoothly while cooking, the Virtuosa has a variety of backups. It has a pot detection device that is connected to an automatic shut-off and turns off the hob if it does not have a matching pot on it. Overheat protection is activated if a hob becomes too hot. A residual heat indicator shows whether any cooking surfaces are still hot after being turned off. Also, a child lock can be activated to prevent any accidental alterations of the cooker settings.
