Amirah Kassem, founder of FLOUR SHOP and author of The Power of Sprinkles and The Magical Land of Birthdays grew up baking and sculpting with her mother in Mexico. She credits a childhood of playing with color and making a mess with fostering her creative self-expression and leading her to pursue her dream of opening a bakery that is all about the glittery celebration of joy and invoking the birthday cake lifestyle.
