Description
The tomato hat protects the tomato plants (or peppers etc.) from precipitation such as rain and sleet, keeps them dry and at the same time irrigates them during rain. The supplied hose is attached to the underside of the tomato hat and thus drains the collected rainwater to the soil without the leaves of the plant getting wet. This reduces the risk of brown rot. Due to the protection of the foil, the tomato plants can be planted in the garden at an early stage and fresh tomatoes can be harvested by autumn. When the weather is nice, the foil can be left open, while it should remain closed when the weather is bad.
