In 2021, Nigo took over as Creative Director of KENZO, making him the first Japanese designer to do so since the brand’s founder, Kenzo Takada. He considers that responsibility the biggest challenge of his career, but we think he’s making it look easy. The new collection pays homage to the label’s heritage with the Kimono jacket.
