Premium Leather Upper
Guaranteeing exceptional durability, the shoe upper has been created from premium leather. This extremely tough material will act as a second skin, protecting the feet from any bumps and knocks, as well as protecting itself from damage. The leather is produced in a more sustainable way, manufactured in tanneries which use processes to reduce the chemicals used, the leather has been certified by the Leather Working Group. The upper is also extremely breathable thanks to the mesh lining Keen have used. This lining will keep your feet feeling cool and comfortable, allowing warm air to escape out to be replaced by cooler air from the outside. Not only this but the lining within the shoes will also work to wick moisture away, keeping you feeling dry and comfortable. Keen have used a contoured fit that follows the contours of the foot producing a more secure and comfortable feel as you move. The shoe upper is finished with a tongue-to-toe Bungee lacing system, which will allow you to secure the fit to your feet for complete comfort and control. If you prefer standard laces, the shoes come with a spare pair so you can change them.
EVA MidsoleConstructed using an EVA midsole, the Jasper Rocks SP Walking Shoes provide comfortable cushioning that keeps you going all day long. The dual-density EVA provides significant cushioning and comfort to help improve the level of your performance so you can stay at your optimum level, for longer. Holding excellent cushioning abilities, the midsole absorbs shocks as you move throughout the gait cycle providing resilient cushioning and reducing the risks of potential injury. A removable PU insole also features within the midsole to provide long-lasting cushioning and support. The insole sits comfortably under the foot and can be easily removed if you'd prefer not to use it. The shoes have been treated with eco anti-odour. The insoles are infused with probiotic technology that naturally breaks down odour in sweat without heavy metals or hazardous chemicals; for a cleaner, fresher smell.
Non-marking Rubber OutsoleAble to form a solid grip and connection with a wide range of surfaces, the rubber outsole on the Jasper Rock SP Walking Shoes will keep you in firm control, no matter what the trail throws in your path. The rubber has a strong grip and will form a solid connection with the ground below. For long-term functionality, the rubber will also look after itself, thanks to its abrasion-resistant qualities, preventing wear from occurring and affecting the overall shape and definition of the boot. Multi-directional lugs will further anchor the foot to the ground, especially on wet surfaces, providing a firm and strong launchpad for every step. The shoes have a low-profile rubber that heightens the ground feel, allowing for a better grip on all surfaces. The rubber used is non-marking so it can be worn indoors or outside.
