Inspired by Japanese knife-making traditions, the Katana Saya kitchen knife range features exceptionally high-quality Damascus steel blades, beautiful olive wood handles and leather sheaths. The Katana is the famed sword of the Samurai and the Saya is its sheath. The extremely sharp blades are crafted from Japanese VG-10 Damascus steel. The handles are crafted from the finest olive wood in a traditional chestnut shape to give a safe grip and perfect balance. Each knife in the range is presented in an elegant wooden case and the blades are protected with a quality brown leather sheath. The 24cm Yanagi Sashimi knife has a long and thin, one-sided ground blade allowing fish to be sliced with exceptional precision. A must-have for lovers of sushi and Japanese cuisine.
