Each of the bowls in this set is glazed a different color of the rainbow. This set has one more bowl than my usual rainbow sets (the sky blue glaze). You can nest these bowls for storage to save cupboard space. You get a nice range of sizes, from a bowl large enough to serve up the mashed potatoes, to a wee bowl for prepping your garlic & spices. The bowls are made on a pottery wheel & fired to cone 5 for durability. They are food, dishwasher, & microwave safe. All glazes used are lead-free. The bottoms of the bowls are trimmed & signed. Measurements: Sky blue - 9 1/4 x 3 1/4 Mint green - 7 3/4 x 2 3/4 Lime green - 6 1/2 x 2 3/8 Lemon yellow - 4 3/4 x 2 Melon - 3 1/4 x 1 1/2 Coral - 1 3/4 x 1 1/8 This one is seriously tiny! Please keep in mind that pottery is handmade & will have natural variations that make it unique. This set shows the marks of the handmade process. You can see concentric lines from the throwing process, especially on the largest piece. These sets make excellent wedding gifts. The nesting idea is particularly appropriate.
