In winter the leaves become bronze-tinted for added interest. Perfect for suppressing weeds, creeping over rock gardens, steep sunny banks, around the base of trees and shrubs or as a feature at the front of shrub borders, this Common Juniper is one of the toughest ground-cover plants you can grow! Happy in almost any soil and tolerant of hot dry sites, this evergreen shrub requires no pruning and is a superb choice for low-maintenance gardens.
