Thanks to the motion detector, the light is only switched on when the letterbox is in use, thus avoiding unnecessary lighting, while the sloping roof of the letterbox not only provides a more relaxed look, but also allows water to drain away safely and prevents unwanted objects from being placed on the letterbox.
