Simply fill the tray in the conventional way and place in the freezer. When ice is required, twist the flexible tray to loosen the cubes and push each switch on the reverse and the cubes fall will drop precisely where you want them. The remainder of the cubes will stay in the tray until you need them. It comes with a lid for useful freezer stacking and the prevention of water spillages.
