The cushioning is firmer along the outside of the foot and softer along the inside, so you can lean in hard while banking and changing directions. A Zoom Air unit helps you break away from the defender and get a clear look at the basket. A Zoom Air unit is positioned under the forefoot for responsiveness. A fit band works with the laces to help keep your foot stable and secure during cuts. The 1-piece tongue is built into the supportive wing along the side to comfortably lock your foot in. 2 different types of foam in the midsole are fused together. They're designed to give you an optimal mix of cushioning depending on where your foot needs it.
