In September 2012, the Jordan brand created a sneaker that played off their infamous 'Johnny Kilroy' ad. The Nike AJ IX 9 Retro Calvin Bailey sports a blueish purple nubuck base with white contrast stitching and bright yellow accents throughout. As usual, the number "23"" is embroidered on the heel, yet the tongue replaces ""AIR JORDAN"" branding with ""CALVIN BAILEY"" and the word ""GARY"" is stitched on the backside.
