Description
With big boots to fill as the follow up to the lauded AJ3, the Air Jordan 4 stepped up to the plate in 1989. Plenty of colour ups and retros later, it's now here in a 'Midnight Navy' palette. Uppers of pristine white tumbled leather form the backdrop for titular navy accents and speckled grey overlays, with mesh segments on the sidewall and toe box for fresh breathability. This mid-rising, Swoosh-less design gets its dose of heritage from the Jumpman instead, which appears on the tongue and heel as well as the insole. Further down, a springy Air unit can be seen through the midsole, and rubber covers the outsole for a durable, grippy finish. BQ7669-140
