The hood and arms, where the jacket sees the most moisture in a storm, are made with rugged, abrasion resistant two-layer ripstop fabric, and the torso, where temperature regulation is critical, is made with two-layer, four-way stretch fabric. Both fabrics are 20k waterproof / 20k breathable and finished with a PFC-free DWR treatment for added storm protection. The jacket is also lightly insulated with Primaloft Bio and lined with 100% recycled stretch polyester for those chilly mornings waiting for first chair or leaving the trailhead before dawn.
