Adelene Fletcher has become famous for experimenting with new styles and techniques in her creation of specialist watercolour paintings. Initially, Fletcher’s background was in textile design and she originally graduated from the Manchester College of Art during the 50s. Adelene has received numerous awards and critical acclaim, exhibited in the Royal Institute of Painters and written and illustrated her own books. Poor Jeffrey the giraffe, people always think he's looking down on them. Only because they haven't looked into those deep, soulful, long-lashed eyes to find the character only Adelene Fletcher can capture. Framed, floated and glazed with hand-torn watercolour paper.
