On strenuous ascents, you'll appreciate the breathability and stay-fresh properties of the fabric. It's also very robust, designed to withstand the rigours of outdoor use and the abrasion caused by the straps of your pack. To stop your ears getting cold in the cool mountain air, the jacket is equipped with a snug hood.
