Description
IWC Watch Pilot's Chronograph IW378004. With a design that is as crisp as it is timelessly modern, the IWC Portugieser has turned into an icon of watchmaking. Chronographs have formed an integral part of IWC Schaffhausen’s Pilot’s Watches collection since 1994. This Pilot’s Watch Chronograph features a stainless steel case with a diameter of 43 millimeters, a blue dial, and rhodium-plated hands. The high-contrast dial with large Arabic numerals and the triangle index marker at 12 o’clock has been designed in the style of an easy-to-read cockpit instrument. Thanks to luminescent elements, the time can be read at a glance, even at night, or in difficult visibility conditions. The IWC-manufactured 69385 caliber, a precise and robust chronograph movement in classic column-wheel design, enables measurement of stop or aggregate times of up to 12 hours. The hours are displayed on the counter at 9 o’clock, the minutes at 12 o’clock. The small second features a red hand and is located at 6 o’clock. The self-winding movement with a power reserve of 46 hours is visible through the sapphire glass back. Water-resistant to 10 bar, the chronograph is fitted on a 5-link stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp. Thanks to the integrated EasX-CHANGE® system, the strap can be easily changed without additional tools.
