Since 2004, the pair have worked in collaboration to deliver an incredible range of special edition watches and now, they find themselves permanently together in the luxury watch brands Pilots collection with the new IWC Pilots Chronograph Edition AMG watch under reference IW377903. Like so many IWC and Mercedes watches before it, the IWC Pilots Chronograph is engineered from racing-inspired materials including grade 5 titanium and black carbon fibre.. The 43 millimetre titanium case is designed to bring the style and adrenaline of motorsport to the wearers wrist, ensuring a lightweight and sophistication finish. Titanium also makes it way across the crown and pushers which together deliver a water resistant rating of 60 metres. At the centre, the IWC Pilots Chronograph Edition AMG watch exposes an unmissable black carbon fibre dial, a material widely used for racing chassis parts. Its unique weaving pattern is interrupted only by contrasting silver plated chronograph counters for 12 hours and 30 minutes and a small seconds dial. Powering each of these functions is the IWC-manufactured 69385 calibre which delivers a healthy power reserve of 46 hours, a frequency of 28,800vph and 33 jewels. The Swiss made automatic winding movement can be seen through the exhibition case back alongside a Cotes de Geneve decorated rotor when not strapped to the wrist by the black calfskin leather band.
