Air Mesh Upper
The upper of the TrailFly has been constructed using a breathable air mesh material, providing enhanced comfort without compromising on durability. The mesh material will allow for optimal airflow in and out of the shoes, by allowing warm air to escape, and cool air to enter, curating the perfect microclimate for your feet. This will work constantly over a long period of time, keeping you feeling cool and comfortable over long miles. This breathable upper has been combined with a gusseted tongue to prevent loose rocks and debris from entering the shoe while a toe guard helps to protect your toes from uneven surfaces and rocks. The upper is completed with MET-CRADLE stripes which work with the lacing system that will allow your feet to stay locked into the shoes, and prevent slipping inside the shoe.
A new shape, featuring on all-new Inov8 footwear in 2024, has been designed to hug the natural contours of your foot, locking in at the heel and widening at the toes. This new design brings more comfort, greater confidence and unhindered performance. Incorporated within this new shape are two new fits; Precision Fit for a closer feel and extra nimbleness over tricky terrain and Wide for a relaxed feel and extra comfort over longer distances.
POWERFLOW PRO MidsoleFeaturing Inov8's new POWERFLOW PRO midsole, the TrailFly delivers one of Inov8's softest rides. This, combined with incredible cushioning and comfort, provides you with an ultralight and durable feel underfoot. This underfoot comfort and propulsion is built in a way that still allows for the ground feel you need when running over uneven terrain. A new, lighter version of the BOOMERANG footbed features hundreds of expanded TPU beads that compress and spring back for more energy return whilst featuring more perforations to help water evaporate and transfer out of the shoe.
Graphene Grip OutsoleFeaturing a Graphene-Grip rubber outsole, this delivers the ultimate in control and traction on the toughest trails. The Graphene is able to form an extremely strong grip with a wide range of different surfaces, guaranteeing complete control on uncertain terrain. Naturally tough, the outsole will maintain its shape and definition over a long period of time. By being so tough, the outsole will remain functional and effective over both the long run and over time. Newly designed 4mm deep lugs on each shoe have been meticulously shaped and positioned to improve propulsion at the front, and braking at the rear. Measured spacing between the lugs prevents debris from sticking to the outsole, cuts through loose trails and remains super-durable, but also gives great grip in wet conditions. A Meta-Shank rock plate allows your feet to move naturally whilst also protecting the bottoms of your feet.
