All Inov8 shoes are designed with Met-Cradle technology to lock down the mid-foot for a stable hold, where they differ is in the toe box. The shoes are now graded from 1 to 5, Grade 1 representing their closest, most precise fit and Grade 5 representing the widest fitting toe box.

The lower the number on the scale, the narrower the fit, which ensures minimal internal movement of the foot when running fast on technical terrain. The upper has been redesigned to give a better locked-in fit thanks to the new wraparound ADAPTER-FIT cradle system that connects the midfoot to the heel. Operated from the laces, when these are tightened, the cradle tightens too, pulling everything together for a secure fit that also adjusts to the natural movements of the foot. The tongue has also been redsigned with a new shape with more padding to give a more comfy feel under the laces and helps improve the fit.

The midsole of the Trailfly G275 V2s is constructed from Powerflow Max foam, which provides you with ultimate comfort. The midsole foam technology delivers you with a greater bounce as well as, exceptional energy return. Not only this, but the material offers excellent durability and shape retention for the perfect cushioned fit. Additionally, a Boomerang insole is made from expanded Thermo Polyurethane balls which work to compress and spring back for 40% more energy return than any previous insoles. The effective cushioning of the midsole will mean that joints like the knees and ankles will have reduced impact, preventing injuries and fatigue from occurring.
