Providing a secure wrap-around fit and optimum levels of breathability, the upper on the Inov-8 Parkclaw 240 Running Shoe is lightweight, secure and features X-Protec technology for maximum durability so your feet will remain cool, comfortable and protected whether you are pounding the pavement or tearing up the trails. Designed with a met cradle, external heel cage and upper webbing to ensure maximum stability on more technical terrain. The upper also has an antimicrobial fabric treatment which works to eliminate smells as you push yourself and break into a sweat, so you stay fresher and free from odour on long runs. Well cushioned and responsive, the midsole is made with PowerFlow+ technology. Delivering 10% better shock absorption and seeing a 15% increase in energy return, while an EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) strobel board works to further enhance underfoot comfort and a DFB shank propels you forward to keep your stride fast and efficient across both pavement and off-road ground. Finally, a Sticky sole compound ensures confidence-inspiring grip on a variety of different running surfaces, with a slightly more aggressive, trail-style cleat pattern that has been specially designed to feel smooth when running on roads.
