Smart Flow The SMX 85 T1U K contains intelligent technology that ensures the optimum temperature control for food freshness. With Smart Flow technology the air flows directly from the fridge to the freezer without passing through the vegetable crisper. This helps to maintain humidity levels for ideal food storage. It also benefits from a drawer with three functions to extend the freshness of your food for longer. The Super Cool + - function can drop the temperature of food from 70°C to 3°C in 30% less time than traditional chilling, while Chill Mode creates a delicate chilled air flow which constantly guarantees the ideal temperature to preserve fresh meat and fish by limiting microbial growth. Additionally, the Safe Defrost function defrosts food at controlled low temperatures, preventing bacteria growth and avoiding tissue damage during the process. Temperature control The frost free freezer boasts improved cold air circulation to prevent ice from building up so you'll never have to defrost your freezer again. Plus with super cool and super freeze options you can quickly lower the temperature of food after you have filled up the fridge or freezer with a big shop. A special anti-bacterial coating on the inner walls also helps to keep your food fresher for longer and protects your family by killing bacteria and mould. Storage space At 60 cm wide, the interior capacity of the SMX 85 T1U K is a staggering 328 litres in total, making it 13% larger than other Hotpoint models. With three safety glass shelves, a salad crisper and four door compartments in the fridge, you have plenty of space for storing all of your chilled produce.
