I read the instructions and it said to charge for 24 hours before use. I fully charged it, left it on for approx 8 hours. I did turn it off before I wen to bed ( I would not leave it on overnight). When I used it in the morning it left brush marks on my carpet where the brushes had worked to lift the pile. I tried the turbo for a few seconds which really kicked in, but I noticed the battery went down a notch very quickly . As it is new, do not know if this always happens. So far really pleased with the results. My other cordless has lost its suction so bought this to replace it. I still have my plug in but love the cordless for a quick hoover. It has really good suction. I love the demo's on Idealworld. I would love the answer why does it say charge for 24 hours, when it is fully charged hours before.
