The insert lenses range starts from the Pinlock 30, Pinlock 70 and Pinlock 120 lenses. The number is used to describe the levels of fog free clearance the insert lenses provides in order to acclimatise to temperature differences that cause helmet shields to fog up.The RPHA 11 / RPHA 70 (HJ-26) is available in two different levels - Pinlock 70 and Pinlock 120. The Pinlock 70 is a premium fog resistant solution for riders, enhanced with strong fog resistant properties, extending fog resistant endurance which helps riders see better through challenging weather conditions. The Pinlock 70 is also known as the "Original Lens". Pinlock 120 is the new top of the line fog resistant solution for professionals, developed to eliminate fogging in demanding weather conditions. The 120 option is used by professional riders and racers in the MotoGP, WSBK, Isle Of Man, etc.Pinlock anti-fog inserts clip between two adjustable eccentric pins located in your helmet visor, these inserts can be easily swapped over depending on your riding needs. The Pinlock insert is made of a moisture absorbing plastic and the silicone seal on the Pinlock insert ensures there is an insulating air layer between the Pinlock insert and the visor. Both these combinations make Pinlock the worlds number one anti-fog product.Pinlock lenses have a silicone seal which creates a double shield system between the helmet face shield and Pinlock insert lens. There is a slit on the side which keeps the insert lens steady and tight between the face shield and pin. There is also a dry hydrophilic technology like membrane surface that absorbs moisture.PLEASE NOTE: Clear visors and light smoke/tinted visors are road legal, all other dark smoke/dark tint, coloured and iridium visors are NOT road legal and intended for race/track use only.
