High Street, Bilston, circa 1910 by unknown. A view of Church Street looking towards High Street. The trolleybus tram lines and overhead lines can be clearly seen. The only other forms of transport are George Mason's motorised delivery van (centre) and the hand pulled cart (right). Harper's wines and spirits, also known as the Old Boar's Head, is marked by the sign of a boar's head above the door. Dolman's butchers can also be seen next to Harper's (far right). This large 18th century building once belonged to a Dr. Bailey, but has long been converted to shops. Produced on 280gsm fine art paper designed for museum-quality reproductions.
