This formal console table is made from melia oak solids and pippy oak lacquered, hand-polished with wax lacquer, and would be a wonderful addition to your living room, dining room, bedroom or hallway. Perfect for a lamp of a vase of flowers. Pippy oak features small, tight clusters of knots, which appear sporadically in the growth of the tree. This feature is highly valued by master craftsmen for its decorative appearance. Melia ash is a fast growing tree, taking only 20 to 25 years to mature, and has been used for its stable and durable qualities. The cane used in Hemingway is natural and handmade. This elegant furniture is inspired by the formal yet practical look of the late 19th century Arts and Crafts movement. Each piece in the Hemingway range is made from melia oak solids and pippy oak lacquered, stained a rich deep colour, and hand-polished with wax unusual. For a traditional finish, drawers are finished with antiqued brass knob handles. The Hemingway range features a beautifully distressed finish, which makes each piece utterly unique to its owner.
