This mattress contains 3,000 individually pocketed high-density springs in king-size, for more responsive support to your body’s contours. This luxuriously comfortable mattress combines natural fillings with advanced spring technology. Our Cortec spring system is glue free, therefore recyclable at the end of life. Each pocket spring moves independently, meaning greater weight distribution and relief from pressure points that are known to cause sleep disturbances. For your upmost comfort and support, this mattress contains a bed of micro springs, the use of smaller springs adds additional pressure relief and support. Harrison Spinks is committed to greener production methods, therefore uses natural, locally-sourced hemp and traceable British and Yorkshire wool in the production of all their mattresses. The use of wool gives the mattress a soft, springy and supportive feel whilst also providing temperature regulating properties. Wool is also antibacterial, as well as being a natural fire retardant. The use of hemp provides absorbent properties, creating a hygienic sleeping environment to ensure you are kept cool and dry throughout the night. This mattress is handmade by craftspeople using traditional methods of hand tufting, tape edging and side stitching. For your convenience there is no need to flip this mattress, Cortec springs are lighter than conventional springs, making it easy to maintain. All our mattresses are glue & Fire Retardent chemical treatment free as well as being 100% recyclable at the end of life, so that you can sleep even better knowing you are doing your best for the environment. While some mattresses include chemical treatments on the fabric to ensure they are fire retardant, we prefer a more natural approach using a naturally fire-retardant cover, that is woven in house at Harrison Spinks.
