Description
Jonathan Adler Dresser Multicoloured Glass. Dimensions: L 150 x Depth 40 cm x H 76 cm. Avant-garde glamour... A striking and luxurious design for this furniture decorated with geometric patterns available in a colour palette inspired by the dawn. Contemporary and graphical patterns, noble materials and sophisticated details in polished brass... Jonathan Adler's world mixes extravagant elements with a classic, sophisticated style. He makes elegance flirt with relaxation and humour. His world offers a certain mixture of glamour and American modernism from the mid 20th century, pop culture, and the Palm Springs version of La Dolce Vita. This upscale dresser consists of a lacquered wooden box covered with retro-painted glass. Numerous polished brass details, like the wide square and grooved handles and the tapered wired feet, provide a highly sophisticated dimension to this unit. This dresser consists of a central compartment with a door (including a transparent glass shelf) and, on each end, two drawers. Jonathan Adler: Today, we live in an age where everything goes with everything, where we mix opposites, pastel with the flashiest colours, vintage with contemporary, expensive with what is not. I have integrated a lot of white and black, because they combine perfectly with all the other colours, they magnify them. Especially pinks and pistachio greens. Ceramicist, designer and internationally renowned interior designer, Jonathan Adler first became passionate about terracotta and exhibited his first pottery collection at Barneys in New York in 1993.
