Museum Selection Handcarved Hummingbird
Description
Ornament recalling early 20thcentury American folk art carvings, handcrafted. Parasite wood is a plant that grows on its host, the Chinaberry Tree. It feeds off the trees sap and is so strong that even when its host is dead this plant doesnt decay. The plants are collected by artisans who create these wonderful carvings. As this is a natural material, it is not possible to have consistency in each carving, therefore each one will be unique.
