On the day, you will meet your instructor who will fit you with your equipment, including buoyancy aid, boat and paddle (spray decks are available for experienced paddlers). There will then be a full safety briefing and explanation in the use of the equipment before going onto the water. Then it's time to take to the water and show off your skills. A medical declaration form must be completed before taking part. If under 18 this will need to be signed by a parent, guardian or responsible adult. At some locations you must be able to swim 50m fully clothed (2 lengths of a standard pool), please check on booking.This experience is available on selected Monday to Sunday dates, January to November, subject to availability. There will be a maximum of 16 people in your group, though there may be other groups on the day. Your experience will last for approximately 2 to 4 hours. You are welcome to bring family and friends along to watch.
