Description
Lightly quilted, reversible, printed cotton waistcoat decorated with "boteh", a Persian motif thought to represent a curled palm leaf or bud. ZainulAbidin, who ruled Kashmir from 1459 1470, encouraged Persian weavers to move to his kingdom bringing with them traditional bote patterns. With reverse in plain burgundy, button front, side splits and 2 pockets.
