These mythical pioneer perfumes compose a unique olfactive library, that the Maison Guerlain endeavors to preserve. Why the name Jicky? During his student days, Aimé Guerlain kept the enamoured memory of a young woman naimed Jicky to whom he paid a beautiful homage with one of his most wonderful olfactory creations. By pure coincidence, the diminutive of his nephew Jacques was also Jicky. Jicky is presented in a spray bottle inspired by the iconic Bee Bottle, covered in 69 iconic bees of the Empire. Oriental Fougère. Contrasting, dynamic, surprising. The spicy notes that blossom with the warmth of the oriental facet also play skillfully with the fresh and aromatic notes of lemon and lavender at its heart. Underneath this audacious structure, one detects woody and vanilla notes for greater vibration and character. Jicky initiated the creation of """abstract perfumery"""" as opposed to """"figurative perfumery"""". With its interplay of unique facets, it was the first in the perfume world to have such a trail and tenacity.
