Semi pendant luminaire - a brilliant classic of luminaire design The shade of the Semi pendant luminaire impresses both with its harmonious, concave curved shape and with a shiny brass finish in which the entire shade shines. The brass tone gives the emitted light additional warmth. Thus, the pendant lamp Semi supports a pleasant ambience - especially as a light source above a table. The design comes from the renowned Danish designers Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup, who have been cooperating since their graduations from the Danish School of Architecture in 1969. The successful designer duo designed clocks as well as interiors for Georg Jensen shops; they designed the harbour facilities in Elsinore from the urban planning to the ferry terminal as well as the museum Arcticum in Finland. The Semi pendant lamp is produced by the company Gubi from Denmark, which has been dedicated to the production of high-quality design products in the interior design and lighting sector since its foundation in 1967.
