This multimeter is supplied with the following measurement capabilities: AC and DC voltage, AC and DC current, frequency, and resistance. It can also check diodes and verify continuity.Other key features includes BEEP-JACK™ Technology that guards against improper test lead plug-in, and a bright backlight for operating in dark spaces. The meter has PC interface capabilities for recording project readings when needed.The DM-510A also has an AutoCheck™ Function for automatic selection of AC voltage, DC voltage, and resistance with low input impedance to mask "ghost" voltages. It also has a crest function, which captures voltage or current signal peaks, as well as a recording function, which stores the maximum and minimum input readings. The DM-510A is a true RMS meter.
