East Urban Home Erik Gutter has been working since 1994 as an independent designer, stylist and decorator. In 2009 ‘Studio Erik Gutter’ opens doors in Blaricum, a design studio and an interior design shop. His background being flora, he always applies plants in interiors since he sees this as indispensable part, preferably unknown sculptural plants, as a special object. Thinking back to his childhood, as a small child, the image pops up of windows to which weeds or plants were stuck, due to condensation or water. As if they literally would bloom through the glass.
