Description
Delicate tulip and jasmine motifs incorporate elements of the Arts and Crafts past, most notably the serpentine leaves, and bear reference to a more simplified, modern vision of nature. Originally produced as an eight-colour roller print in 1910, this design was intended for a wide market. Because of the large investment tied up in the expensive heavy copper rollers, such patterns had a typical shelf life of only three to five years before the metal was reclaimed. Now available in contemporary tints.
