The Essential Service is an easy to ride all-mountain board that is great for carving on the slopes, surfing powder and shredding sketchy features in the park. This is made possible by combining a durable, poppy and eco-friendly construction with a versatile, forgiving C2 Hybrid Rocker profile. Part of the proceeds from this model will be donated to theserviceboard.org. This is an organisation that aims to help young people overcome personal and cultural challenges through public service and outdoor adventures such as snowboarding. Riding style A fun all-mountain/freeride board for advanced riders - carving turns on the slopes, surf turns in the powder or creative runs in the park. With this board, the good times never stop. Shape The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is slightly wider than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The offset of the bindings in the direction of the tail (setback) makes the nose a little longer for even more uplift in powder. The Magne-Traction® technology provides improved edge hold with serrated edges. Especially on icy slopes they unfold their full potential. Profile The C2 profile comes with a rocker between the bindings combined with a camber under the bindings. This combination offers a good edge hold thanks to the camber areas, as well as good lift and unlimited freestyle action without canting thanks to the rocker. Flex The medium flex is ideal for the all-mountain design of this board. Hard enough for powerful turns, but still soft enough for a playful ride. Construction The G2 Eco construction is an environmentally friendly and durable construction design from Gnu. The core of aspen and paulownia wood is asymmetrically constructed, light, sustainable, robust and poppy. Bi- and triaxial fibreglass surrounds the wood core and provides the necessary stiffness and durability. The Eco Sublimated PolyTopsheet is sustainably produced. The sintered base is very fast, but requires careful maintenance.
