Description
Alessi Children's cutlery Metal Metal. Dimensions: L 15 cm. From the famous Dutch architect, Ben van berkel, the steel Giro Kids cutlery set will be perfect for the kids' meals. Very tough, they allow children to get used to the table and learn how to mimic adults while developing their independence and self-reliance. This easy-to-use ergonomic cutlery with rounded shapes are gentle on children's gums and mouths, allowing them to learn to eat freely and completely safely. The practical details have been perfectly designed to be suited to children's needs: the fork has rounded tips and wide tines, with a slightly hollowed out shape reminiscent of a spoon. The tip of the knife is rounded and the blade is not sharp. This cutlery is the mini version of the Giro cutlery collection. Like its older siblings, it is inspired by the helix, an architectural element often used by Ben van Berkel in his buildings. As such, the handle of the cutlery is brought to life with a helical movement set into the material: the steel turns on itself and coils upwards along the handle. The ergonomic silhouette that is created by a gradual transformation effects a dynamic motion frozen in solid material. This cutlery is made from 18/10 stainless steel, a sustainable material in terms of energy saving, recycling and durability. Its manufacturing requires a really minimal amount of energy. What's more, this material has an incredible lifespan, ensuring the products a durability and resistance over time. Finally, it can be completely recycled and put back into the manufacturing cycle.
