Description
In honour of Gibsons, a family-run business that specialises in jigsaw puzzles and board games and was established on May 15, 1919, an extra-special edition of the classic game L'Attaque has been produced as a limited-edition commemorative item. The artwork on the box has been painstakingly re-created to seem like it came from the game's first release, which was in the early 20th century. As a keepsake from the engaging and historic game from Gibsons' archives, the original rules (as well as the contemporary version!) are included within the box. Gibsons was the first company to create one of the so-called "big four" military-themed strategy games. That game was called L'Attaque. From the early 1920s until 1940, when it was destroyed in The Blitz, it was printed and made from our facilities in Aldersgate Street, London. After that, it was no longer possible to produce it there. L'Attaque is a board game that requires two players to compete against one another on a board that is 9 by 10 squares. There are 36 troops in each army, which stands for the French and the English. Players are need to use careful planning in order to position their pieces in such a way that they may assault their opponent's Flag on alternative turns. In addition to this, they are required to utilise their Spy piece in order to locate the Commander in Chief, who is the second most valuable piece on the board after the Flag, which is the most essential component. From the awesome world of Gibsons , you are sure find what you like, whether it is a premium puzzle or more.
