Created by German designer Andreas Kowalewski, the Ghost table lamp is a modern and minimalist take on hurricane petroleum lamps. The slender, metal structure forms a large handle, making it easy to handle the lamp when moving it. The domed diffuser is made from white opalescent glass, with a translucent finish. The ribbed glass creates the illusion of a white fabric thrown over the light source, creating a ghostlike, yet lovely, look! The subtle pattern of the vertical grooves fade out gradually at the top of the light, enhancing the lamp's elegant and sculptural style. The dimmer on the cable is used to adjust the light intensity.
