Georg Jensen Holiday Tree Christmas Tree Decoration

The traditional Christmas tree motif is given a graphic and modern update for this Georg Jensen decoration. The shape of the tree is made into a simple frame which is pierced with Art-Deco-inspired detailing. It also features a cut-out heart in its centre to represent the love that brings people together at this special time of year. Crafted in one of Georg Jensen's workshops in Denmark the decoration is made from 18 karat gold-plated brass so it will catch Christmas tree lights or candlelight as it turns. It comes with both traditional red and contemporary ice-blue ribbons for you to choose from according to your festive theme. Designed by Danish designer Sanne Lund Traberg whose motivation for this year's collectables was to take Cubist and Art Deco influences, apply them to basic shapes and create decorations that can be used year after year.
