Description
This much-loved flower of the high mountains makes a great feature at home in a rockery, alpine border or a container. Gentiana cruciata bears its intensely blue flowers at the tips of short, 30cm (12) stems. This Crosswort Gentian is the easiest to grow of all the Gentian family and it flowers freely in dappled shade from late summer onwards. The whole plant is tough and even rabbit-proof. Height and spread: 30cm (12).
