Genesis Fugio 30 Disc Gravel Bike 2020 The Genesis Fugio 30 Disc Gravel Bike is their most capable drop bar offering, combining a compelling spec list and wide tyres mounted to a Reynolds 725 steel frame. The frame material’s inherent compliance works alongside the full carbon fork to provide a sublime ride quality that works on-road as well as off. Fitting it with 650b wheels and 47c wide tyres greatly opens up the scope of its abilities on rougher terrain, with grip and cushioning in abundance compared with skinnier tyred options. Multiple bottle cage, luggage and mudguard mounts also extend the bike’s range of operations, whether that is the daily commute or a cross-continental trip. Shimano’s gravel-specific 11-speed GRX groupset uses a single 40t ring and large 11-42t cassette to provide the simplicity of operation and a plethora of ratios, whilst the hydraulic disc brakes ensure tireless speed control. Last, but definitely not least, is the addition of a 50mm X-Fusion Manic Gravel dropper seatpost for extra confidence on steep drops and more manoeuvrability on technical ground.
