Gold chains are so on trend now and it’s easy to see why. They are glamorous and add a touch of magic to just about everything.This is a delicate, light, snake chain, 1mm wide and 17 inches long, with a 2 inch extension chain at the back. Every 15mm there is a small decorative gold ball. It is fixed with a lobster claw and is a perfect chain to hang pendants on.The metal is brass with 2.5 microns of 18k gold vermeil so the gold should last a very long time. The reason we make many of our gold chains in brass, not silver, is that should the gold vermeil begin to wear off, (unlikely for a long time) it will not show through nearly so much on brass and give your chian a long life of wear.All Gem Bazaar jewellery comes in a vibrant upcycled silk sari bag and a pretty pillow box. To clean, wash gently in warm soapy water, rinse and pat dry.Eventually all gold vermeil will wear off and the more often it is worn, the more quickly this will happen. However, as this is two and a half microns of 18k gold vermeil this should last for a very long time.
