This variety is resistant to bolting. Ideally planted from March to July, and harvested from June onwards. To remove skin easily, boil in salt water, allow to cool then gently rub skin off. 281 seeds.Sow seeds thinly 2.5cm deep direct in growing bed in rows 12" (30cm) apart. Keep the soil moist, and be careful not to over-water. When large enough to handle thin to 4" (10cm) apart. Twist off the leaves to prevent bleeding. Ideal for successional sowing. Protect young seedlings from birds using netting.Keep well watered in dry conditions .
