Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns or to discuss this project. - About this particular listing: Featuring an impressive & substantial Scottish milled, burry Elm natural waney/live edge wood slab. Presenting a double live edge surrounding the circumference on the top not only adds to the tremendous character but subtly depicts the natural, elemental exterior encasing the charming dark, warm tones of the surfaced top. Measuring: Length (cm): 255 Width (cm) : minimum...including waney edge: 90 maximum..including waney edge: 117 average....including waney edge: 100 Thickness (cm): 5.5 Total Net Product Weight (KG): 87 My personal outlook for this piece would involve retaining as much of the live edge character as is possible, as I see a tremendous beauty in doing so. Either inserting 2 - 3 brass bowtie inlays towards the top split or filling the natural voids with a black epoxy resin to achieve a completely flat surface, then to apply a durable, satin oil finish to reveal the dark tones whilst retaining the natural feel & aesthetic. - Please note that the pictures show unconditioned, bare rough-sanded surfaces.
