And with its provision for recessed MTB clipless pedal cleats, the Pitch Sport is ideal for riders who need to clip in and out regularly at junctions, or who even need to hike-a-bike and walk at times. Because FWE doesn’t believe in a ‘shrink it, pink it’ approach to women’s cycling, this female-specific WS version of the Pitch Sport has been especially built using a narrower last or ‘foot mould’ to create an entirely different shoe. Also, universal/unisex colours are used in both male and female versions, making neither design particularly gender obvious/specific.
