When creating Vetiver Extraordinaire, Frédéric Malle perfumer Dominique Ropion sought to modernise the very traditional, masculine scent of vetiver. He uses a molecular distillation process to eradicate its bitter element – so its fragrance doesn’t overpower you – we think this is just a little bit magic.
